New Workout

I’m the type of person who can never stick to something permanently, especially when it comes to working out. I’ve been on and off the wagon so many times, my body gets really confused. Right now I’m gaining a lot of weight because all of the people in my office are crazy eaters and you know, PEER PRESSURE. Not blaming them, I love to eat just as much as all of you. Foodtrips are probably one of my favorite pastimes. But it seems that my weight has been going up more than it’s going down so I’m doing something about it before I become a fat baboon and up my fitness activities.

I’ve had gym memberships but never found them fulfilling, and usually only go for the dance classes. I LOVE to dance. Absolutely love to. If I could do it every day of my life I would. And with my work schedule 8-5, plus the traffic it takes to go home, about 2 hours.. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to enroll in a legit dance class here in Jakarta so I decided to do the Hip Hop Abs workout, in the comfort of my own house. If I don’t have time, I’ll make time and if I won’t have perseverance, I’ll just call myself a fatass all the time and that’s gonna be enough to make me wanna work out.

If there’s no other way you gotta create your own way right? I dance in my room all the time but I felt like I needed a solid routine and good reps and figured this was what suited me best so I’m going to try it out and hopefully it’ll turn out well. I even made a schedule for myself to keep. As for eating, there’s no need for a diet. I have no intentions of being stick thin, I just don’t want to be A FATTY BOM BOM hahaha.

Hopefully I’ll also be able to blog some progress (with the intention of also keeping this blog alive). I finally have another reason to work out and I’m gonna have to consult my personal trainer who is my 10 year old sister, she makes me do 100 crunches a night and cycle up a steep road with her at the back (I almost died once at that one lol) but now we have more variety and she could also enjoy this with me!
