About

Hello! My name is Justine. I’m a 2030-something navigating the highs and lows of “adulting” and everything that comes with it. I graduated from Curtin University of Technology with a double major in Marketing & Management. I am a TCK, a term used for people who have spent a significant part of their lives outside their parents’ culture. In 2012, I moved back to my birthplace in Cebu, Philippines after living in Jakarta, Indonesia for 15 years. Work-wise I manage all the marketing of a top international school in my city. Previously, I worked remote for a Singapore-based digital marketing firm where I traveled a few times a year and since I was 8 years old. Always looking forward to where life will take me next.

Real life usually involves spending time with great friends, priceless family bonding, good food, fangirling, awesome conversations, laughter and yoga. A good night-in is just as great as a good night-out, and I consider myself a homebody as much as your average party-goer. Saturday night in reading a book and/or watching Netflix? No problem.

I’ve been blogging since 2002 in various places, this being the latest (and hopefully longest) one. You can find me in various places online, but I’ll leave it to you to find out. When I don’t lose the motivation and get too caught up with life to blog, here I share my thoughts and rants about anything and everything!

oth·er·world·ly /ˌəT͟Hərˈwərldlē / Adjective
1. of or relating to an imaginary or spiritual world.
2. unworldly.

Otherworldly really is a lyric from my one of my favorite bands, Incubus. It comes from the first verse of the song Warning, which says:

Bat your eyes girl, be otherworldly.. count your blessings, seduce a stranger.
