Hey there, March

March is as bittersweet as it gets. Here I am nursing a leukocytosis, my WBC count is high thus I have what it is called a bacterial infection, in layman’s term. My second batch of ASOS goods never arrived since my purchase last December, so I got a refund. As much as I love having money again.. I really wanted those things. Nevertheless, I still love ASOS for its amazing sale goods and really great customer service. It’s a shame the Philippine Post Office sucks monkey balls. I will be traveling to Korea end of month. I am so excited! Getting to see the city I’ve been wanting to go to for a few years now, catching up with old friends, hopefully meeting new ones and meeting one of my best friends whom I haven’t seen in a while. Should be good! I’ve been struggling a bit when it comes to keeping my finances in tact. This uphill road to financial independence is starting to take a toll on me. 2012 went by too fast …

The 2PM Experience

Related Post: 2PM, Finally! It’s taking me a while to come up with a decent blog post about my experience during last Friday’s 2PM concert, because I don’t know where to start. My word vomits about my experiences during that night have all been spewed on both my twitter accounts and told to friends who have been asking me about my experience but there’s just something about actually coming up with the right words to say in a blog post that’s so hard. It’s Tuesday as I currently write this but I have no idea when it will be published (FRIDAY!).. so I’m just forcing myself to just write so I don’t have to torture myself on how to come up with the entry for this blog. I know a lot of my online friends aren’t K-pop fans, and I didn’t get into K-pop until late 2009, where I already established a place in the internet as a blogger (who had no knowledge about K-pop and was a rock chick at heart) in both tumblr …

Protect The Boss: Final Thoughts

Officially done with Protect The Boss (??? ???). I feel like I should do a thought-entry about it since it’s one of the most refreshing K-dramas I’ve seen that had every element a sane viewer would want. First thing’s first of course, I will address the ever-famous Jaejoong: This is the very first Jaejoong thing I’ve seen. I’ve never really followed DBSK at all, and I’ve always been known as a Jeje-hater because I NEVER UNDERSTOOD the guy’s appeal and why so many millions of girls would die in his arms.. but now I understand. His acting wasn’t great, but it was good enough to make you want to love his character. I felt like he was more comfortable acting with Ji Sung than the ladies. You could see him let go of his doubts when he was with the men rather than the women (of course that included his mom in the drama). The voice, how can you have that look and have that singing voice? Definitely one of the many physicall gifted, talented, …

Things I Love Thursday, #4

Douglas Booth at #LFW. How gorgeous is this guy? Not to mention he’s so well dressed, you can’t go wrong with that. If he doesn’t have a stylist who works for him, kudos! I’ve always been a fan of the Burberry poster boys (George Craig, Alex Watson, Sam Riley, Tom Guinness and Alex Pettyfer to name a few) and their campaigns are always spot on in terms of model casting. My top favorites have to be George Craig and Douglas Booth because they look a little rough on the ages but really fit the bill of the smooth look Burberry offers. Suits Suits is the 2nd best TV show I’ve seen this year after Shameless US (What is up with my favorites this year being only 12 episodes and not coming back until a whole full year?). It is SO good and I finished it in less than a week despite work. Until now I’m still in a Suits withdrawal and I’m still thinking about Harvey and Mike’s shenanigans in the world of law. This …

On K-dramas and City Hunter

I don’t watch a lot of K-dramas, but when I do watch one I make sure it’s good and I make sure it’s Lee Min Ho. The number of K-dramas I’ve seen, I can count with my fingers. Endless Love: Autumn in my Heart (the start of it all), Full House, You’re Beautiful, Personal Taste (which I loved), Oh! My Lady, My Girlfriend is a Nine-tailed Fox, Secret Garden (one of the best) and this one which I recently finished, City Hunter. It is good, it is damn good. I was a bit hesitant because of the action and suspense genre which I tend to stay away from because first of all, I don’t have much knowledge when it comes to the Korean government and secondly, well I really do prefer the romantic drama theme. The reason why I started City Hunter was not only because people were recommending it to me, but also because it stars Lee Min Ho and I was curious about how he’ll go about pulling off an action role. I …
