Quarter Life

I am now 25 years old! Yay?

To celebrate my quarter life into this world, I will answer a simple tag meme to commemorate being young, and wild, and free, and all that jazz. It’s weird how it’s the first thing I thought of the moment I wanted to write about being 25, so here it is! Got this from tumblr. Also, the answers are pure honesty. No point in trying to be “cool” anymore. Past that stage.

1. How old are you?

25, baby.

BDJ Box: May 2013

I felt like a kid on Christmas day as soon as I walked into the office yesterday. I had two packages, one from Mark with my new ASOS stuff and my May BDJ Box! I didn’t get any notification about the arrival of this box and it seems like it was ages ago when I ordered it, so I was definitely surprised and excited to receive my very first box from BDJ!

I’ve read a lot of good things about them, how they’re very generous when it comes to the contents and boy it did not disappoint this month.

Nothing With Someone

If you’ve read my tumblr or this blog you know I am an avid follower of the genius little site that is asofterworld. I like that amidst all the sarcastic and hard-hitting punchlines, there comes a sweet gem like the poster above.

I have been single for a while now, and while I don’t mind it because I’m still trying to figure myself out (and the rest of the world for that matter) sometimes it does bother me especially since my mother has been on my back about getting a boyfriend for some time now. She is very concerned about me being single. I get it. I am approaching mid-twenties now (THE HORROR) and she probably wants me to start being secure with someone already.

Like many out there, I still have issues with commitment and I’m just trying to put all the pieces together and get to know as many guys out there. Nevermind the fact that I always get the “don’t-like-the-one-who-likes-you”/”like-the-one-who-doesn’t-like-you” syndrome. I just miss the whole doing nothing with someone, the kind where you just sit for hours and not be worried that the other is bored because being together is enough. That’s all, really.

Seoul City 2013, pt. 1

How do I do this? I have so many photos! I was in Seoul, Korea for 9 nights and 8 days last March to April. I loved it there. I even felt like I didn’t appreciate it as much then because HOLY HELL I MISS IT SO MUCH RIGHT NOW. I finally got to see Caroline after ages too, who knew we would reunite in Seoul, out of all places?

Where do I start? This entry is going to be flooded with photos if I put them all in this post! Here’s a little of Seoul and beyond.

Everyday Personal Essentials

I just got back from Korea around 2 weeks ago (separate post for that later) and I went crazy over their beauty products (as I expected). I switched to using Asian products around 2 years ago when I realized American beauty products didn’t really sit well with my skin. That was when I discovered the wonders of what BB Cream did. I still use continue to use a couple of Western products like my MAC compact powder and some drugstore makeup brands like the Revlon blush that I use.

When I was in Korea, I found that Nature Republic was my favorite amidst all the others like Etude, Missha, Innisfree, Holika Holika, Saem, etc etc etc (there were SO MANY!) so that’s where I bought the most things.

I don’t use a lot of makeup daily but I can’t go out of the house looking like I just fell out of the shower anymore so I use a couple of daily essentials. Here they are!

Shiseido Eyebrow and Eyeliner Compact – This is my number one. I can’t leave the house without putting this on. I can go naked but I must have this (LOL). I have almost nonexistent eyebrows (thanks, genes) so I look like this everyday. Not as gorgeous as Jessica Alba, but you get the drift.
