The Sunday Currently, v18

FEELING Healthwise, better than I ever did last week. My nose isn’t clogged anymore but I still have a bit of a cold in the form of excess phlegm (sorry for the visual). A bit nervous too, because I’ll be starting the GM Diet this week. I feel like I ate too much during my trips last month that I need to detox. WATCHING I watched Zootopia today and incredibly enjoyed it. Now I’m annoyed at myself for not catching it in the cinema. There are so many movies I haven’t watched in the cinema this year. Boo me! NEEDING To get my finances in tact. I really need to be more financially responsible. WISHING For this week to be kind of to me, both mentally and physically! THINKING About where I put my earphones because I need them — my pink Urbanears Kransen. I absolutely love them and have been using them nonstop since I bought them last year. They haven’t conked out on me and have been surprisingly durable with better than average …

The Sunday Currently, v17

Welcome to the very first edition of this years’ The Sunday Currently! We’re on to the 3rd week of the 3rd month of the year and time is showing no signs of slowing down. My weekends are finally starting to show a footing of routine but I’m still at a crossroads of whether I like it or not. This has been the most unexpected year ever. Anyway, on to the post! FEELING Having a headache. I’m not sure if this was brought on by the chocolates I had after dinner and the tea I had with it, but as I sat down to catch up with work (yes, on a Sunday night), an onset of a migraine arrived. Tempted to take a Nyquil but I still have work to do so it will have to wait once I’m done. Aside from that, it’s been quite an eventful and satisfying weekend so I’m capping it off with a good dose of fangirling. WATCHING Honestly, videos related to work that I really don’t want to elaborate so …

The Sunday Currently, v16

Can you believe it’s already almost halfway through November? Time sure is running on the fast lane. FEELING Sleepy! I stayed up last night catching up on Jimmy Fallon interviews then watched Trainwreck after. I didn’t know the movie was 2 hours long (I loved it!) and when I was done it was almost 5am this morning. Eeeeek. Had to wake up pretty early for church and brunch so now I’m trying not to fall asleep so I don’t end up missing the whole of Sunday night. WATCHING Justin Timberlake’s performance of Drink You Away during last week’s CMAs with Chris Stapleton. This song is from JT’s 20/20 album and also one of my buried favorites. I’m not familiar with Chris Stapleton because of my lack of country music knowledge but I am love-love-loving this performance. It must have been so great to be a part of the audience that watched this live. I love the whole soul x country marriage of talent! Here’s another performance of Stapleton’s song this time, Tennessee Whiskey, which is …

The Sunday Currently, v15

FEELING Pretty good. My weekend in itself was pretty eventful, and I’m looking forward to conquering another week. Plus, I got a haircut today! A haircut is always a good symbolism of a “fresh start” or an excuse for one, heh. READING Single, Carefree, Mellow by Catherine Heiny. I started reading this before boarding the plane and I’m still halfway through it. The good part about reading a book of short stories is that it’s such a breeze to go through, but since it’s too short you don’t get too attached with the characters that it’s easily forgettable. The stories have been more enjoyable than not, so that’s a plus factor. WEARING Black top and pink shorts from earlier today. WATCHING I’m trying to pick between these 3 free pilots I downloaded from iTunes last week. Preferably a show where I don’t have to think too much. LOVING OS X El Capitan and the San Francisco font. For my deteriorating 4 year old MBP, I admit upgrading was a bit of a nervous activity. Coming …

The Sunday Currently, v14

FEELING Generally anxious, to be honest. My anxiety levels have been crazy these past few weeks.. ever since I got out of my last hospital visit, actually. I don’t know if it’s just the whole transition to a newer routine, or being scared I’ll get sick again, or just trying to not do anything as to not trigger another crazy event in my life, but I hope I’ll get over this soon. It’s very discomforting. READING Right now it’s still The Vacationers by Emma Straub. I’ve been taking my time with this book, I started it at the end of my hospital stay but I haven’t had the chance to finish it yet. WATCHING Just finished watching the pilot episode of this show called Life In Pieces. It sort of reminds me of Modern Family sans the whole mockumentary format. I quite enjoyed the first episode and will probably watch the second episode to determine if it’s a show worth following. About to finish watching ep 2 and 3 of You’re The Worst‘s second season. …
